ITC Conference Grants Call

Inclusive Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grants are aimed at supporting young researchers and innovators from participating ITC and NNC to attend international science and technology related conferences, events or activities topic relevant to the DE-PASS network, Work Groups and Deliverables. A Conference Grant is made which contributes to the overall travel, accommodation and meal expenses of the selected Grantee.

It is a fantastic opportunity to attend a conference and present your work (poster/oral presentation) as well as establish new contacts for future collaborations.

ITC countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, North Macedonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey.

NNC countries: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Russia, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine.

Financial Support

Conference Grants do not necessarily cover all the expenses related to participating in a given conference. A Conference Grant is a contribution to the overall travel, accommodation and meal expenses of the selected Grantee.

  • Max 2,000 EUR for face to face events, including Conference Fees.
  • Max 500 EUR for Virtual Conference Fees

How to receive your Grant?

A Scientific Report must be submitted within 30 day after the conference. Once this is approved by Bojan (the ITC Conference Grants Coordinator) and all other necessary documentation is submitted you will then receive your grant.

In addition, we will ask you to write a short blog entry for our DE-PASS Blog. Please remember to ask someone to take a picture of you during your presentation so that we can showcase your involvement on our website and in our newsletter (with your prior consent, of course).

Dr. Pinar Gultekin was one of our successful applicants for an ITC Conference Grant and wrote a great blog post about her experience for the DE-PASS website. depass.eu/itc-conference/presenting
