ITC Conference Grants Call
Inclusive Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grants are aimed at supporting young researchers and innovators from participating ITC and NNC to attend international science and technology related conferences, events or activities topic relevant to the DE-PASS network, Work Groups and Deliverables. A Conference Grant is made which contributes to the overall travel, accommodation and meal expenses of the selected Grantee.
It is a fantastic opportunity to attend a conference and present your work (poster/oral presentation) as well as establish new contacts for future collaborations.
Who can apply?
Young Researchers and Innovators (individuals < 40 years old) from COST ITC and NNC.
ITC countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, North Macedonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey.
NNC countries: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Russia, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine.
Application Process:
An application form must be submitted online through the eCOST system and applicants must submit the following documentation at least 30 days before the conference start date:
- Completed ITC application form.
- Applications CV, including recent publications.
- Acceptance letter from the Conference organizers.
- A copy of the abstract or poster submitted to the conference.

Financial Support
Conference Grants do not necessarily cover all the expenses related to participating in a given conference. A Conference Grant is a contribution to the overall travel, accommodation and meal expenses of the selected Grantee.
- Max 2,000 EUR for face to face events, including Conference Fees.
- Max 500 EUR for Virtual Conference Fees
How to receive your Grant?
A Scientific Report must be submitted within 30 day after the conference. Once this is approved by Bojan (the ITC Conference Grants Coordinator) and all other necessary documentation is submitted you will then receive your grant.
In addition, we will ask you to write a short blog entry for our DE-PASS Blog. Please remember to ask someone to take a picture of you during your presentation so that we can showcase your involvement on our website and in our newsletter (with your prior consent, of course).
